Integrations
Sentry issues, where your developers already talk.
Freesbe's Sentry integration posts each issue into the channel you pick, as one card with its level, the error, the project, where it happened and its short id. Issue alerts add the environment and release, and metric alerts post cards of their own. The card turns green when the issue is resolved, and an issue that comes back gets a new card. With the integration's token, anyone in the channel can resolve the issue or archive it for an hour from the card.
One card per issue, kept current
An internal integration in Sentry, with the issue webhook or an alert rule action. Each issue is one card, from the first error to resolved.
- Severity from the issue's level: fatal, error, warning or info
- The project, where it happened, the environment and the release
- Turns green with how long it was open, and a reply for people following it
Resolve or archive, from the card
Give Freesbe the integration's token, and Resolve and Archive for 1 hour buttons appear on every issue's card. Sentry records the change right away.
A live problems board and reports
One card at the top of the channel lists every issue unresolved right now, worst first. Daily or weekly reports count issues by level, the typical time to resolve and the noisiest issues.
Questions
- Does it work with self-hosted Sentry?
- Yes. Enter your Sentry's address with your organization, like https://sentry.example.com/organizations/northwind, and make the internal integration there.
- Can different projects go to different channels?
- Yes. Connect Sentry once per channel, and add each connection's alert action to the rules of the projects it's for.
