Watch your company's crypto wallets in a channel

How-toFor adminsReviewed Guides: Crypto wallets, Workspace settings

Adding a wallet takes a minute. You need a Freesbe admin and each wallet’s public address, the one you’d give a customer to pay you. Nobody needs to share a key or a seed phrase.

  • Make the channel first, such as a private #treasury, and add the people who should see the money move. Keep it private: a wallet’s payments and balance are sensitive.
  • List your wallets and their networks. The same company often has a bitcoin cold wallet, an Ethereum treasury that also holds USDC, and a Tron address customers pay USDT into. Each address is added once per network it’s used on.
  • Pick a minimum in dollars for busy wallets, say $50, so dust and tiny payments stay out.
  1. Open Workspace settings → Integrations & apps → Integrations → Finance.
  2. Under Crypto wallets, click Watch a wallet.
  3. Pick the Network, paste the Address, and give it a Name like Treasury or Customer payments (Tron).
  4. Pick #treasury, keep Money in and Money out ticked, and set the minimum.
  5. Click Watch wallet.

Then open the wallet’s ⋯ menu and click Send a test alert to see a sample card in the channel.

For a wallet that pays people or suppliers, a low-balance alert is the one worth having:

  1. Open the wallet’s ⋯ menu → Edit.
  2. Under Balance alerts, click Add a balance alert, pick USDT, drops below and an amount like 10,000.
  3. Click Save.

The alert posts once when the balance drops under the line, and again only after it has gone back up and dropped again.

Under the wallet list, set Daily summary of all wallets to an hour like 9:00 AM and pick the channel. Each morning one card lists every wallet’s balances with their dollar value and the total.

  • Money moved between two of your watched wallets shows their names on both cards, so a transfer from Treasury to Payroll reads as one.
  • Bitcoin payments post as soon as they’re seen, marked Waiting for a block, and change to Confirmed in place.
  • Tokens other than the network’s coin, USDC and USDT never post: most of what lands unasked in a public wallet is spam.
